Dental Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Dental Nurse to join our team at Transformation Unit. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality dental services.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in dental nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients, assisting with medical emergencies, and maintaining a clean and safe treatment area.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by dentists.
- Assist with medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrests and allergic reactions, in accordance with GDC guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment area, adhering to infection prevention and control procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and staff at all levels, providing clear and concise information about treatment and care.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve departmental goals.
- Registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Care Professional.
- Hold a recognized dental nurse qualification or NVQ Level III in Oral Healthcare.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a dental department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic IT skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
