The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to lead our design work for both print and digital under the direction of our Creative Director. As a key member of our design studio, you'll be responsible for ensuring our brand handwriting is true to Mint Velvet and consistent across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain clear and consistent brand guidelines across all design outputs
  • Deliver and coordinate all design work for both print and digital, using Asana to manage workflow and planning
  • Ensure consistent brand handwriting across all touchpoints and sign off work for middleweight designers
  • Own seasonal 360 design templates, considering best practice for UX design and store environment
  • Test all new print concepts and materials, ensuring fit for purpose and on brand while being cost-efficient
  • Allocate design work within the design studio and manage workflow to ensure all projects are delivered on time
  • Ad hoc packaging and branding projects
Requirements
  • Creative flair with an exceptional eye for quality and detail, and aptitude for creative thinking
  • Well-rounded understanding of design, both online and offline
  • Strong understanding of composition, layouts, type, colour, and trends
  • Knowledgeable in Design, with a keen eye on emerging trends to share with the team
  • Extremely well-organised, able to plan and prioritise time proactively
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong people and relationship management experience, with a keen collaborator and team player
  • Great commercial awareness, maintaining a customer focus in all activities and decisions
