Kingston University is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our Commercial and Portfolio Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering major projects that align with the University's strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead discussions with key stakeholders to produce detailed specifications for projects and develop approaches throughout the project life cycle.
- Work with the Head of IT Commercial and Portfolio Management to deliver and implement major projects, bringing transformational and organisational change to working practices.
- Liaise with the Strategic Programme Office and the Cloud Business Office to develop an efficient and effective way of working to deliver key strategic initiatives and cloud-related projects.
- Ensure that stakeholders across the University are connected to and working with external vendors and specialists to achieve flexibility, adaptability, and cost efficiencies within the scope of their deliverables.
- Substantial experience with a proven track record of successful project management of delivering complex IT, cloud-based, and business change projects from conception to implementation.
- Demonstrable ability to develop and deliver effective working relationships with colleagues across IT Services and the wider University community.
- Significant experience of initiating and managing multiple priorities, delivering to budget, communicating effectively to drive successful implementation, and contributing to ITS strategic goals and objectives.
