The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a construction industry environment, specifically within credit control and billings. They will be responsible for preparing and processing payment applications, monitoring spreadsheets, and setting up projects on internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the credit control function and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
- Prepare and process payment applications for ongoing contracts
- Monitor spreadsheets showing all applications issued and outstanding payment certificates
- Set up projects on internal systems
- Assist the Finance Director with other accounts-based general duties
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a construction industry environment specifically within credit control and billings
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
- Experience and competency in using Sage
