We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Manager to join our team in Exmouth. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our retail store, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:- Maximise fundraising opportunities through the efficient operation and effective management of the Trust's shop and its volunteers.
- Ensure customers, volunteers, and colleagues are treated with respect and a friendly but professional manner.
- Undertake cascade training, such as manual handling or new equipment familiarisation.
- Take ownership for customer complaints and feedback adhering to company policy.
- Be an ambassador for the charity maintaining public relations and promoting the service.
- Ensure donated goods are received with appropriate thanks and sensitivity.
- Achieve and aim to exceed annual sales budget and gift aid claim target.
- Control the store's expenditure and balance the store's profit and loss account.
- Promote gift aid registration to new donors.
- Experience in a similar role and retail experience.
