Salary up to £47,500 Plus Benefits

Fresh Direct is seeking an experienced Distribution Shift Manager to join our Transport Team in Dagenham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our 70 driver colleagues and a small team of administrators on the day shift.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Transport Manager in leading the team and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
  • Ensuring drivers are taking regular breaks and adhering to the working time directive
  • Using local area knowledge to reroute drops as needed, with support from planners
  • Resolving customer-facing issues and maintaining our reliable reputation

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in CPC management and strong understanding of transport compliance
  • Knowledge of fleet management and workforce accountability
  • Ability to lead by example and set standards in service, health, safety, and compliance
