CLASS 1 DRIVER POSITION

WORKING DAYS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY WITH VARIOUS SHIFT OPTIONS

Key Responsibilities

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Safely securing loads to prevent movement during transportation
  • Driving and operating various Class 1 vehicles efficiently to designated locations
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
  • Complying with all traffic laws and regulations
  • Effectively communicating with dispatch teams and clients
  • Maintaining accurate logs of shipments, mileage, and fuel usage
  • Reporting any vehicle issues or maintenance requirements to management

Required Qualifications

To be considered for the Class 1 Driver role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid UK CE Licence (CLASS 1)
  • A valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
  • A minimum of two years’ experience operating CE vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points and no serious endorsement codes
  • Proficiency in reading and speaking English
  • Strong punctuality and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
