About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Actuarial Director to join our Non-life Actuarial team in the Baker Street office. As a key hire, you'll be responsible for growing the portfolio through business development activities and providing a range of actuarial services to clients within the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver growth and business development through strategic partnerships and client engagement
  • Lead and develop a team of actuarial professionals to provide expert advice on actuarial issues
  • Provide assurance services, reserve reviews, capital calculations, and Solvency II actuarial function duties to clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes

Requirements

  • Insurance Actuary qualification
  • Proven track record of delivering growth and business development
  • Proven people leadership experience
  • Extensive consulting experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • IT literate to a high level, including expertise in MS Excel
