About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Data Specialist to join our team at Toyota Financial Services, KINTO and KINTO JOIN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our vehicle database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Data Management: Ensure the timely update of new vehicle variants in Miles with CAP data according to agreed KPI's.
  • Database Accuracy: Ensure the vehicle variant database is accurate and runout / old vehicles have an accurate status.
  • Fleet Management: Ensure all current passenger, light commercial, plant & equipment have an accurate voucher / service plan in Miles.
  • Option Management: Ensure all of the main fleet vehicles in Miles have all required options (and pricing).
  • Manual Catalogue Vehicles: Manage and maintain the creation of manual catalogue vehicles – non-CAP (Heavy commercial, plant & equipment).
  • Contract Review: Review manufacturer contracts & discounts in accordance with explicit approval documentation.
  • Data Linking: Ensure all associated tables (SMR, Tyres, Options, RV's) are linked to new CAP vehicles to facilitate immediate quoting.
  • Pricing Audit: Audit Miles catalogue vehicle current pricing to ensure accuracy at all times.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports to identify the number of vehicles added, updated and discontinued.
  • Interface Performance: Prepare report to identify CAP interface performance.
  • Data Analysis: Collate and report to the business summaries of vehicle data changes which includes new products or changes.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build relationships with data suppliers and manufacturers (CAP, Toyota etc).
  • Data Anomalies: Analysis, reporting & investigating data anomalies i.e. Product codes, insurance groups.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified automotive or electrical mechanic.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years additional automotive experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Automotive Finance / Fleet Management experience.
  • Skills: Advanced data management and MS software.
  • Communication: Strong literary, numeracy and data entry skills.
