Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Extinguisher Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and hose reels for our customers' premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out service and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and hose reels
  • Understand and comply with relevant industry standards, including BS5306:3, BS5306:9, and BS306:8
  • Available for call-out rota and willing to travel to various sites
  • Develop strong customer relationships and provide excellent interpersonal skills
  • Conduct thorough inspections and fault-find to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Comply with quality procedures and documentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the fire protection industry or extinguisher industry
  • Ability to use hand tools and work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
  • Organized, punctual, and professional appearance
  • Driving license is essential
