Lead Radiographer Opportunity at KIMS Hospital

KIMS Hospital, the largest independent hospital in Kent, is seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Radiographer to lead the Imaging and Diagnostics team at the Sevenoaks Medical Centre.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated professional to oversee the management and supervision of the department, ensuring the safe and efficient provision of imaging procedures to acceptable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations across all modalities in the department.
  • Take full responsibility for the management and supervision of the department, ensuring seamless service and patient experience.
  • Supervise and teach senior and junior radiographic staff and students in the development of skills in intricate or complicated imaging procedures and situations.
  • Ensure accurate and complete clinical and other information records, including the radiology computer system.
Requirements
  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography (Diagnostic) with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Postgraduate qualification in CT/Medical Imaging (desirable).
  • Experience in Interventional CT, including CT cardiac and CT Colonoscopy (desirable).
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and its application.
