Field Service Electrical Engineer - Facilities Management Provider - Mobile Role

This is an exciting chance to join a prominent Facilities Management provider, focusing on a variety of commercial properties. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently in search of skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineers to oversee maintenance tasks across multiple sites. The ideal candidates will possess electrical qualifications (C&G / NVQ) and demonstrate a solid background in maintaining commercial facilities.

This mobile position requires the successful candidates to travel to various locations, where they will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems, with a strong focus on electrical and mechanical upkeep. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with opportunities for overtime and further training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct PPM & Reactive maintenance on Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings, and Compressors
  • Manage Air Conditioning systems - including Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units (filter changes, cleaning)
  • Reset Chillers as necessary
  • Monitor BMS Systems (e.g., Hot & Cold temperatures)
  • Perform Water Treatment tasks - including Temperature and pH tests
  • Maintain accurate log books
  • Assist specialist subcontractors on-site
  • Support fellow engineers as needed
  • Provide technical assistance
Working Hours

Monday to Friday - Hours: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

Requirements
  • City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installation / Engineering
  • Ability to provide trade certificates (Essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Understanding of commercial facility operations
  • Multi-skilled capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
