Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members.
- Provide project status updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Member/Fellow of RICS or similar qualification is essential.
- Pre and post contract commercial services experience.
- Knowledge of the Welsh Construction Market.
- Existing network of relevant contacts within the education or commercial sector.
- Proven experience in a senior level role and delivering high value and challenging projects.
- Detailed knowledge of our competitors, with ability to articulate and shape our differentiators.
- Strategic vision of the market and industry and ability to focus our business to take full advantage of market conditions.
- Proven track record of winning and developing new business opportunities.
- Extensive experience in preparing bids, proposals, attending interviews and winning work.
- Proven team management skills and experience.
