About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHE Advisor to join our team at United Living Group. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in driving health, safety, and environmental performance across our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support projects in delivering our Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy, ensuring managers assume full responsibility for their activities.
  • Provide Health, Safety, and Environmental input into the tender and contract award process.
  • Act as a single point of contact for advice and expertise on Health & Safety matters to project teams.
  • Provide environmental and sustainability guidance to meet our targets, metrics, and net zero drivers.
  • Support and undertake accident/incident investigations to establish root causes and communicate learning points.
  • Challenge existing working methods to incorporate Health, Safety, and Environmental good practice.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure culture through behaviour-based coaching.
  • Liaise with the wider construction industry to share lessons and implement best practices.
  • Coordinate, develop, and maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders, the HSE, Local Authorities, EA, and SEPA.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of CDM regulation requirements for gas projects.
About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, proven coaching and motivating abilities, and the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organisational levels.

You will have experience in auditing and root cause analysis techniques, a good understanding of CDM Regulations, and a strong knowledge of Environmental management requirements.

A NEBOSH Certificate and considerable relevant construction SHE & Gas industry experience are essential. A Diploma in Health & Safety or membership of a safety or environmental professional body is desirable.
