About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.

Our learners come from diverse backgrounds, and some may have complex learning requirements, including special educational needs (SEN), social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, and childhood trauma. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each learner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition that inspires and teaches.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Requirements
  • Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
