Job Title: History Graduate - Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a History Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students across KS3-5 in and out of History lessons, including those with SEND/SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Class Teachers in delivering lessons targeting all core areas of the History curriculum
  • Support students with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Help Class Teachers target pupil progression
  • Work alongside a team of experienced History Teachers
Requirements:
  • History graduate with strong academics across university, sixth form, and secondary school
  • Passion for History and a desire to teach
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Sufficient understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
