Your Role:
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority is seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to lead its award-winning Retrofit Team in the Environment Directorate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team delivering over £100m of housing retrofit measures to help meet the targets in the Greater Manchester 5-year Environment Plan and Retrofit Action Plan.
The key focus of this role will be to:
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful delivery of retrofit projects.
- Lead a team of professionals to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize retrofit opportunities.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors, and community groups.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Programme Manager to join a dynamic team and contribute to the achievement of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority's environmental goals.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in programme management, preferably in a retrofit or construction industry.
