Material Logistics Coordinator

SmartPro is in search of a skilled Material Logistics Coordinator to support our client. This role involves the effective management of information related to the flow of materials into production, ensuring operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in supply chain management, logistics, and operational processes.
Working Hours: Standard hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 7:45 AM to 1:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the visibility of both direct and indirect materials, assessing the quantity and timing of deliveries to align with production schedules.
- Expediting purchase orders and notifying the inventory team of urgent incoming materials to fulfill kitting and production needs.
- Providing timely updates on material shortages and communicating production clean by dates to assist in planning.
- Maintaining the SAGE system with accurate supplier product information, contact details, and purchase order acknowledgments to ensure data integrity.
- Addressing inquiries regarding invoice pricing and delivery discrepancies, updating the SAGE system to reflect necessary corrections.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in SAGE software and knowledgeable in supply chain management principles.
- Experience in logistics and shipping/receiving operations.
- Expertise in data management techniques to derive business insights.
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures.
