Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Respiratory Specialist Nurse to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our respiratory team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist respiratory nursing services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Act as a resource to other healthcare professionals, providing specialist advice and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the Band 7 Respiratory Nurse to promote and maintain excellent, safe practice.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • RGN qualification - Diploma or Degree
  • Relevant respiratory course or respiratory experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
