About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join our Private Client team at William James Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Court of Protection work, including Personal Injury trusts, statutory wills and gift applications, and deputyship applications.
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members on Court of Protection matters.
  • Develop relationships with clients and provide exceptional client care.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the Mental Capacity Act 2005, the Mental Capacity Code of Practice, and Court of Protection Rules.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience working in a Court of Protection/Private Client department.
  • Strong legal and leadership skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
