Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Dulux Decorating Centres. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our stores. You will work closely with our UK Sales Team and in-store colleagues to provide a memorable customer experience and maximize the sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions
  • Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience
  • Support the monthly customer contact plan and follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
  • Load the van and plan delivery routes
  • Develop your skills and encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer service or retail role
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized and with an eye for detail
