Site Installation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Installation Supervisor to play a key role in the successful installation of our equipment worldwide. As a member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation of our equipment, ensuring that it is installed correctly and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams to ensure equipment is installed correctly, to drawing and specification.
  • Oversee electrical installation teams and troubleshoot problems with newly installed lines/equipment.
  • Work at our UK assembly facility to ensure efficient system prebuild and preparation for site installation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet and deliver client requirements.
  • Carry out snagging and maintenance work on equipment and complete reports on completed work.
  • Work closely with commissioning engineers to complete Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer acceptance tests.
Person Specification:
  • Ability to organise own workload and coordinate with project schedules.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to carry out practical tasks involving fabrication, welding, and machine adjustment.
  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Understanding of logical processes and ability to learn automation control software.
  • Able to represent our company and demonstrate good tactful communication skills.
  • Prepared to travel extensively and familiar with lifting methods, equipment, and good practice.
  • A working understanding of safety standards for manufacturing and installation sites.
Qualifications:

Candidates should hold relevant qualifications, including a solid electromechanical engineering background and relevant industry certifications.

  • Construction industry qualifications: CSCS card and SSSTS qualification.
  • Safety Passport (SPA or similar).
  • Food hygiene certificate (as a module of SPA, or similar).
  • Licenses for Fork Lift Truck and MEWP.
