Job Summary

G R Carr (Essex) Ltd. is a leading provider of mechanical engineering services to various industrial sectors. We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Fabricate and assemble piping systems, including cutting and preparing pipes for welding.
  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of piping systems and associated equipment.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Document daily pipefitting activities and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Valid trade qualification or equivalent in pipefitting.
  • Proven experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the petrochemical, oil and gas, or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with a variable schedule, including overtime and weekends.
