Colchester United Community Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic PE and School Sport Coach to join our team. As a key member of our Community Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE and sport programs to children and young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver PE and sport programs to schools and community groups, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Work closely with teachers, schools, and community partners to develop and deliver PE and sport programs that meet the needs of our community.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our PE and sport strategy, ensuring that our programs are aligned with national curriculum standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of our PE and sport programs, using data and feedback to inform future developments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver training and support for teachers and community coaches, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality PE and sport programs.
Requirements:
  • NGB level 2 Coaching Award (e.g. UEFA C Football Coaching License or Level 2 Multi Skills Coaching Award) or working towards.
  • FA Safeguarding Children Certificate.
  • Willing to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Understanding of the Primary PE and PSHE National Curriculum.
  • A range of NGB Coaching qualifications.
