Remedy Education is seeking a highly skilled DT Technician to join a large Secondary school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to teaching staff and students.

• Liaise with teaching staff and technicians to identify technical support needs generated by the curriculum.
• Maintain stock levels of materials, apparatus, and tools, and ensure that appropriate stock checks are carried out.
• Place and progress orders, ensuring spending is in line with departmental policy.
• Keep accurate financial records and liaise with the Finance Department as necessary.
• Organise and store equipment, apparatus, tools, and materials in accordance with the Learning Trust's regulations.
• Participate in the development of the Design and Technology department's technical and practical facilities.
• Ensure the maintenance of room services and facilities, liaising with the Site Team as necessary.
• Prepare apparatus, tools, and materials for use in practical classes.
• Maintain displays in the Faculty as requested by specialist teachers.
• Contribute to the development of the Faculty's practical work.
• Ensure that satisfactory standards of safety and security are maintained in relation to national guidance and legislation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication and organizational abilities, and a passion for supporting students and staff in a Design and Technology environment.
