UTAC is seeking a dedicated Sustainability and Governance Analyst to assist in executing our sustainability initiatives at the Group level. As part of our journey towards carbon neutrality, we have evaluated our corporate carbon emissions across all scopes and established science-based targets for reduction.
This position is ideal for an analytical, motivated, and enthusiastic individual who is approachable and pragmatic, with a strong interest in sustainability.
You will collaborate closely with the Group's Sustainability Manager, gaining valuable insights and experience.
This role, based at our esteemed location with the option for hybrid work, offers a diverse range of tasks and numerous opportunities for professional growth. You will engage with a variety of colleagues from different disciplines across the globe, including members of the Executive team, Finance, HR, Facilities, Health and Safety, Environment, Procurement, Legal, IT, Audit and Compliance, Sales and Marketing, and Communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of sustainable reporting requirements, including climate data (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), for stakeholders such as shareholders and regulators, as well as sustainability frameworks and customers: engaging with stakeholders, collecting and managing ESG data, and performing analysis and reporting.
- Assist in organizing ESG meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Address ESG inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with internal experts and the Sales and Marketing team to gather information and update the Supplier's Frequently Asked Questions on our ESG Hub.
- Provide assistance on various ESG projects as needed.
Qualifications
- A degree in a sustainability-related field.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
Experience Requirements
Essential:
- A demonstrated passion for ESG and/or sustainability, evidenced through education, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
- Self-motivated and highly conscientious.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with sustainable reporting frameworks.
- Understanding of sustainable finance.
- Knowledge of carbon accounting and reduction targets.
- Proficiency in French is a plus.
