Position Overview:

We are seeking a 1st Line Technical Support Agent to reinforce our proactive Customer Support team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our support operations and will report directly to the Service Desk Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming customer calls by logging and prioritizing issues
  • Diagnose support challenges utilizing available resources
  • Collaborate with advanced support teams as required
  • Arrange on-site visits by technicians with the necessary documentation
  • Assist in software testing and system installations

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft desktop operating systems
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously
  • Self-driven with effective task prioritization skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with the requirements of the retail or hospitality sectors
  • Knowledge of Computer and Networking technologies
  • IT certifications or qualifications are advantageous
  • Experience with remote support tools and SQL
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
