Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Educator to join our team at Wayman Group. As an EYFS Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of young children, fostering a love for learning, and promoting their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the EYFS curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behavior
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school

Requirements

  • QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students
