About the Role

Amazon is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our EMEA transfer pricing team. The role is focused on supporting Amazon's related party transactions for its core Stores businesses within EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transfer Pricing Policy Development
  • Plan, implement, and monitor transfer pricing policies, including business partnering, financial modeling, and business/asset valuations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business teams and other members of the global tax function.
Compliance and Documentation
  • Contribute to and review transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking, and regulatory filings.
  • Support the implementation of new transfer pricing policies and prepare/review inter-company agreements.
Ad Hoc Support
  • Provide support to stakeholders engaged in planning, controversy, and compliance-related activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and manage outside advisors.
About the Team

Amazon's transfer pricing group is an integral part of the global tax function, working closely with business and other tax stakeholders. The EMEA transfer pricing team is primarily located in the UK and Luxembourg.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant professional qualification.
  2. Extensive tax/transfer pricing experience, ideally 7 years+.
  3. Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national tax department.
  4. Strong understanding of accounting concepts and tax law.
  5. Ability to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations.
  6. Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects.
