Role Description

Qualified Dental Nurse
Milehouse Dental Practice, Newcastle-under-Lyme

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

As a Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting your dentist. With your understanding of Private, NHS, and UDA treatments, as well as your knowledge of GDC and regulatory responsibilities, you will set the highest standards for your team and patients.

  • Understand the importance of teamwork within the surgery and how to work effectively to support the dentists.
  • Possess excellent organisational and influencing skills, using these to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Understand Private and NHS dentistry, supporting treatment options for patients and driving surgery efficiency and practice performance goals.
  • Share your knowledge and be a role model to Trainee/Apprentice Nurses, buddying them through their initial induction and providing extra support as they learn.
  • Demonstrate full understanding of GDC and other regulatory responsibilities.
  • Embrace the importance of your own CPD and ongoing professional development.
