Job Title: Site Manager

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee large concrete flooring pours and screeding on a large industrial warehouse in Peterborough for 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
  • Update and maintain progress reports to track project milestones
  • Execute and uphold company protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction activities on site, including managing subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identify project-related issues and oversee their resolution in a timely manner
  • Oversee the upkeep of site facilities and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition
  • Manage and provide support and guidance to the groundworks team
  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring efficient progress and adherence to project timelines
  • Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers to ensure a smooth project execution
  • Ensure tasks are accomplished according to schedule and within financial plan
  • Carry out consistent inspections to verify quality standards are significantly met
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a secure work environment
  • Manage project budgets and expenses, including procurement of materials and equipment
  • Monitor work quality and ensure that construction activities meet specified standards and client expectations
  • Stay in regular contact with your team, engaging in ongoing discussions about project updates and handling any issues that may arise

Maintain precise documentation of site operations, encompassing progress updates, safety evaluations, and daily records.

This is a Contract position with an excellent salary on offer for the successful candidate.
