Job Opportunity for Experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers

We are seeking skilled HGV Class 2 drivers with HIAB experience to join our logistics team at Backline Logistics Avonmouth.

About the Role:

  • Deliver goods to construction merchants on a daily basis
  • Start time at 07:00, finish around 16:00
  • Make 4 to 8 deliveries per day, ensuring safe crane operation
  • Local area knowledge is required for efficient delivery
  • Experience with load security and handballing is essential

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Category C License
  • Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
  • Valid CPC, Digital Tachograph, and HIAB ticket
  • Ability to secure loads safely
  • Good communication skills

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Hourly pay rate: £17.50
  • Minimum 9 hours paid per day
  • Up to 28 days holiday per year
