C++ Software Developer

At Venture Up, we're seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Developer to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our quantitative research team, you'll be working closely with our researchers and engineers to build and support systematic trading models.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and modern C++ features, including memory management facilities such as smart pointers and move semantics. Experience with multi-threaded applications and TCP networking is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance C++ trading models
  • Collaborate with our research team to implement and maintain our distributed system
  • Contribute to the development of our trading platform using C++ and Python
  • Work closely with our engineers to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in similar hedge funds or trading firms
  • Strong understanding of C++11/17/20 and modern C++ features
  • Experience with multi-threaded applications and TCP networking
  • Ability to produce high-quality code in a timely manner
