Facilities Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a leading global organisation, is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join their established team based in Merseyside. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supervising, controlling, and maintaining plants to ensure customer demands are met with minimal support and within agreed budget targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities at the main site and satellite locations to agreed company and industry standards.
  • Actively support the site's safety, health, environmental & quality goals and targets.
  • Inspect and check all operating plant and machinery on a regular basis, including diagnosing faults and providing feedback for rectification.
  • Realistically qualified to at least HNC level or above in a relevant engineering discipline (Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical).
  • Good understanding of current Health, Safety and Environment legislation (NEBOSH certificate preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge of operating chemical and process plant equipment.
