Pro-Tax is seeking an experienced US Tax Manager to join our growing team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of US clients and providing strategic tax advice to support their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of US clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance and relationship management.
- Develop and implement tax strategies for clients with cross-border interests between the US and UK, leveraging your expertise in US tax laws and regulations.
- Review and analyze US tax returns, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for tax savings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive tax advice and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to support our clients.
- Collaborate with the wider tax team to deliver high-quality tax services to our clients.
- Proven experience in US tax compliance and advisory services, with a strong background in tax planning, compliance, and client management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- UK tax technical knowledge is a plus, but not required.
