About the Role

Ambitek Limited is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the Rolling Stock industry. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out the Mechanical Overhaul of Rail Bogies, ensuring that our customers receive reliable, safe, and defect-free trains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bogie overhaul, damage repair, and engineering
  • Wheel set overhaul, repair, and analysis
  • Bogie chassis, damage repair, and cleaning
  • Bogie and gearbox engineering/repair
  • Wheel exchange on wheel sets
  • Bearing, axle, and wheel mounting
  • Components and sub-assemblies overhaul, repair, and analysis
  • Re-engineering and production of spare parts
Requirements
  • Extensive all-round knowledge of Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of modern rolling stock systems
  • Experience of Train depot operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative
