Job Title: Retail Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team at DCK Group. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of visual merchandising, and supporting the sales team in our Clacton store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of visual merchandising, ensuring that the store is visually appealing and products are displayed effectively.
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales targets, providing product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store, participating in stockroom tasks and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
