Job Title: Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team as a Clinical Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to take their career to the next level.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with a dynamic and flexible approach to support the needs of the service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in MSK and Orthopaedics, with a profound understanding of MRI safety, especially on patients with implants, and a deep knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality MRI scans, with a focus on MSK and Orthopaedics
  • Work closely with a skilled team of radiographers and consultants to provide excellent patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI
  • Participate in on-call rotations, covering weekday and Saturday lists

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years post-grad experience in MRI
  • Strong experience in MSK and Orthopaedics MRI scans
  • In-depth understanding of clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI
  • Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners
