Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager in achieving sales targets and improving shop profitability
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop, including stock management, customer service, and staff supervision
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, promoting the charity's values and mission
  • Support the work of the retail team, including training and development of staff and volunteers
About the Retail Team

Cats Protection has a network of over 80 charity shops across the UK, each with its own unique character and charm. Our shops offer a wide range of products, from vintage jewelry and jigsaws to harps and handbags. As a Retail Operations Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about providing excellent customer service and promoting the charity's mission.

  • Demonstrable learning and experience from working in a relevant retail environment
  • Experience and/or understanding of working to sales targets
  • Experience of cash reconciliation and financial controls
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team of employees and volunteers
