Platform Property Care is excited to present an opportunity for a seasoned Housing Void Inspector to become a vital part of our Voids team, primarily operating within the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional service to our clients by conducting thorough inspections of vacant properties. You will accurately identify the necessary works in accordance with our Letting and Service standards, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure properties are prepared swiftly and effectively for new tenants.

Additionally, you will provide both practical and technical guidance, assisting the Service Manager and Supervisor in achieving operational goals, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• A relevant trade qualification is mandatory
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled environment
• Background in a customer-oriented setting
• Must have prior experience in Housing Inspections
• Ability to make critical decisions, demonstrating comfort with responsibility and accountability for successful service delivery outcomes
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on solutions and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication abilities, fostering strong working relationships
• Proficient IT skills
• A full UK driving licence is essential due to the mobile nature of this role.

This position requires travel across the West Midlands area, and it is preferable for candidates to be located within Birmingham, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, or Solihull.
