Salary: £38,000 to £44,000 Per Annum

Job Summary

We are seeking a technically focused Accounts Senior or Auditor who is looking for a more advisory role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and auditing, with excellent knowledge of accounting packages and financial reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate auditors' recommendations into technical accounting improvements
  • Prepare statutory accounts and review disclosures under various accounting frameworks
  • Prepare consolidations and cash flows for year-end statutory accounts
  • Provide input into the delivery of services to larger, more complex clients
  • Seek solutions to clients' accounting problems and research potential resolutions
  • Prepare engagement letters for review by managers and partners
  • Support senior team members in delivering technical accounting advice and training
  • Identify and act on potential new business opportunities with existing clients and targets
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting packages used to prepare financial statements
  • Good working knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS
  • Ideal experience with multiple GAAPs and consolidations
  • Experience leading client assignments
