Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Volunteer Receptionist at our West Berkshire service.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience in a reception and administration role. As a Volunteer Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing a warm welcome to our service users and supporting our team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our service users, answering the telephone and greeting visitors.
  • Undertake administrative tasks such as filing, archiving, and photocopying.
  • Support the collection and inputting of service data.
  • Work with local and national databases.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a desire to learn, and a non-judgmental and supportive approach to people who are facing problems with drugs and alcohol. A good working knowledge of standard IT programmes (Microsoft Office and Outlook) and a close eye for detail are also essential.
