Job Summary

This role is crucial to the continuous enhancements made to our procured materials, components, and assemblies through monitoring, testing, and reporting issues to prevent re-occurrence of actual and potential product failures.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work within a growing, highly dedicated team of Engineers and Technicians within the Quality department, collaborating with Engineering and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify failure modes in products and components and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Develop methodologies for improving process inspection and verification.
  • Work with the Operations team to enhance inspection and verification processes and create visual awareness of quality metrics and communication to the business.
  • Support activities meeting the objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of various quality tools and methodologies, including PPAP, 8D, and 5 Y's.
  • Background in CNC Machining and CMM inspection.
  • Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing process, converting raw materials and components into finished goods.
Desirable Skills
  • Ability to maximize effort to remove obstacles and achieve business results.
  • Capacity to interpret analysis into concise and accurate report writing.
  • Ability to manage work and time to effect productivity.
