Job Title: Packaging FLM

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Packaging FLM to join our team at Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the Packaging team's daily and weekly activities to meet our KPI requirements for internal and external customer service and quality at optimum cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management: Manage the team, including shift handovers, scheduling, training, performance reviews, coaching, and motivation.
  • Operational Excellence: Take ownership of continuously improving and implementing effective ways of working, ensuring adherence to production schedules, optimizing manpower, and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Performance & Compliance: Oversee performance management, ensure compliance with site procedures, and manage shift rotas to maintain flexibility and skill balance.
  • Safety & Risk Management: Promote safe working practices, address safety concerns and incidents, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the maintenance department to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and execute process adjustments.
  • Resource & Cost Management: Focus on cost optimization across all areas of the department, improving energy and utilities consumption performance.
  • Team Engagement: Motivate the team to work collaboratively, celebrating successes and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a team lead/manager in FMCG/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage significant change issues within the department.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Proficient in applying project management principles.
  • Capability to successfully deliver process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in managing a complex and large department effectively.
