Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Manager at our nursing home in Godalming. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager in the running of the home and deputising in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective management and supervision of a team of nursing and care staff
  • Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure the service is well run and promotes positive outcomes for our customers
  • Monitor and provide the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support to our customers
  • Ensure the service is fully compliant with health and safety management and statutory obligations

Requirements

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • A level of professional development and registration (may include Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care qualification)
  • Experience in managing a team of nursing and care staff
  • Experience of providing direct personal and social care
  • Experience in working with customers who have physical and/or learning disabilities
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours
