Caretaker Role at Landscore Primary School

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Caretaker to join our team at Landscore Primary School. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the site and grounds to contractual standards, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a high level of customer service to clients and staff
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve site management goals
  • Ensuring the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards
  • Managing equipment and products used in carrying out the role, including inventory and safe storage
  • Supporting with general maintenance issues and minor handyman duties
  • Ensuring site security and maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and staff
  • Comfortable engaging with members of the public and providing excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines relevant to the role is an advantage
