We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate midwife to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
Key Responsibilities- Provide continuity of care, advice, and support to women and their families throughout the perinatal period.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care to ensure the best possible outcomes for women and their babies.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to women and their families.
- Participate in the development and implementation of programs to promote women's health and well-being.
- Contribute to the education and training of students and junior staff members.
- Registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, woman-centered care.
