Accounts Receivable and Payable Manager

Search Consultancy is supporting a business in Goole for an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager to join their Financial Shared Services team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience and take on a challenging role.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a supervisor or manager of an Accounts Receivable (Credit Control) and Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The role involves managing the AP and AR teams, ensuring they are appropriately trained and have the right procedures and processes in place to hit targets and achieve month-end close-down deadlines.
The successful candidate will be proactive, methodical, and have high attention to detail, with experience of working with ERP systems (preferably IFS) and developing credit risk processes.
