As a Pilates Instructor at Equinox, your career will be an empowered lifestyle founded on maximizing both your personal and client potential. Under the guidance of a dedicated Pilates manager, you will develop and refine an approach to programming, education, and business development that ensures your Pilates Instructor career is as unlimited as your passion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a Safe and Comprehensive Pilates Training Program: Create a personalized Pilates training program for each client to ensure they attain their goals and remain motivated to continue progress.
  • Conduct Initial Client Assessments: Conduct complimentary assessments and goal setting to recommend a Pilates training program.
  • Instruct Pilates Sessions: Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions to clients.
  • Build Your Book of Business: Work with Pilates Manager to build your client base and ensure your success.
  • Complete Administrative Tasks: Complete all administrative requirements associated with client management.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments in the club to ensure members have a well-rounded experience.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all Equinox members and guests.
  • Strive for Consistent Client Activity: Strive to have consistent and frequent client activity to help them achieve results and goals.
  • Participate in Ongoing Training: Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain Studio Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the studio and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Pilates Certification: Hold a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program certification or completion of certification on all Pilates apparatus.
  • Minimum 400 Hours of Pilates Education: Complete a minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education through a Pilates certification program.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Possess exceptional customer service skills.
Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Standing, Sitting, and Walking: Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Squatting, Bending, and Reaching: Squat, bend, and reach to assist clients during sessions.
  • Pushing, Pulling, and Spotting: Push, pull, and safely spot clients during sessions.
