Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Compliance and various departments to perform assessments of regulatory modifications.
  • Recognize regulatory updates and effectively relay these changes to the organization.
  • Generate and disseminate briefings on critical regulatory updates.
  • Keep executive leadership apprised of regulatory patterns and insights through consistent reporting to committees and as needed.
  • Ensure the organization is adequately represented in pertinent industry body working groups.
  • Facilitate internal feedback on draft regulations for submission to industry organizations and regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Lead and coordinate a monthly Regulatory Impact Meeting to monitor and discuss recent regulatory changes with key personnel from various departments, including senior leadership, covering all operational jurisdictions.
  • Participate in and contribute to internal discussions related to sustainability initiatives within the organization.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a regulatory change capacity.
  • A minimum of 3 years of compliance experience within the UK asset management sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the investment management landscape and financial services.
  • Expertise in investment products, change management techniques, and report generation.
  • Strong familiarity with UK and EU regulations pertinent to the asset management sector.
  • Experience with regulations and standards related to sustainability applicable to asset managers and publicly listed companies.
